AISS: Helping People Is in Their DNA

Megan Schuck, Senior SNAP Coordinator at the Food Bank, and Corey Houston, founder of “Breaking the Core,” are passionate about supporting individuals who need assistance. They both spend a lot of time at AISS, All-Inclusive Support Services, in Springfield lending a helping hand.

AISS is a program run by the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office that is designed to support members of the local community and formerly incarcerated persons as they transition back into public life. AISS offers mentorship programs, employment counselling, and more. The Food Bank partners with AISS to provide SNAP outreach assistance on a weekly basis.

Megan and Corey both say that they love working with AISS.
